This project began near the end of 2018 and hasn't been finished, however I still wanted to share the whole process. I began by doing some research on how to start a project such as this one, I found out to launch a project in photography you need certain things such as:
1. choosing subject
2. Set a timeline
3. set a goal
4. to share or not to share
5.select a location

I began by doing some research through Pinterest setting up a new board and adding anything photography related that I personally liked for two weeks due to limited time and after each day I tried to narrow down my search and by the end having one theme which I would use for the project. Here is a link to my board on Pinterest I decided to have all my photographs black and white for this project because just like the music that those musicians play which ignites an emotional reaction.
From there I went on to scouting out some locations within Dundee where I might find some street musicians usually there are couple of places within city centre which are most commonly used. Once I located these places I began to go past then as often as possible until I would come across one street musician. I didn't want to just come up and start taking pictures like a lot of street photographers do so I would wait till they finish playing a song and come up and start off by introducing myself or asking if they don't mind me taking some pictures as well as explain to them what I'm planning to use them for and finally ask them for some contact so that I could send them the photographs once they were finished and ready to upload.
My first photoshoot for this project I wasn't sure how to approach it, so I experimented with landscapes and portraits from different angles and distances by switching between my 35mm lense and 17 50mm lense.
After I finished taking the photographs I moved onto the next stage of the photoshoot and began to edit the photographs in light room by slightly adjusting the lighting, exposure and shadows as well as converting them into black and white and select top 4
